It wasn't hard for George III to consider these folks to be radical.
And you haven't considered Thoreau (_On Civil Disobedience_) or the
writings of Thomas Paine. These were dangerous leftists who advocated
the overthrow of the established system -- the same kind of system the
extreme right is trying -- and failing -- to restore.
