Default Warning...

Greg Crinklaw:
...why not explain to the rest of us why
it is ok for you to vent your frustrations about operating systems here
on SAA, over and over again? Why is that ok? To do so is to show zero
respect at all for the others here.

Self-appointed Usenet cops come across as being self-righteous. If you
attended a business meeting and someone said "Hello! Nice to see you
again. How's the family?" would you slam them for being off-topic?

Furthermore, telling other SAA participants that the Mac is a better
alternative to the Typhoid Mary of computer operating systems does a
service to those who are sufficiently open-minded to investigate for
themselves.

Like I said, there are more
appropriate venues for the discussion of computer operating systems,
particularly when those discussions and self-described trolls and have
absolutely nothing to do with astronomy.

Once again, you knew the subject of this thread -- which is very much
on-topic, because it has to do with the great majority of participants
in SAA. If you consider it off-topic, one wonders why you spent the
time to read it and then took more time to reply.
