That is a curious object. I've been paying most of my attention
to the possible small impact crater southwest of Opportunity;
in the above image, it's about 1/4 over from the left, just past
the first bit of exposed rock and below the largish rectangular
slab at the top edge of the rock field. Wonder if they plan to
check it out.


I'm wondering about mv's "wishbone" object ... did the rover
move the opposite way from it? Or did it run over it or some
such? I can't decide ...
