I was so impressed I invited the kids. The crescent moon , 2 stars and Mars
were in the same field of maybe 2 degrees of field at twighlight.
I had a 25mm EP on my 80mm F11 refractor on a cool evening with high cirrus
and good seeing. I just had to share the sight I was witnessing.
What did I do? I invited my kids 10 yr old friend who was visiting, to
look. I think I actually introduced a future astronomer to the sky.
After she saw all that and a 1/2 Venus and Saturns rings she was extatic.
She said, I'm going to get a telescope when I grow up.

I think I will too.
