I see at Oceanside Photo and Telescope (optcorp.com) that Celestron is
releasing an 80mm F7.5 ED refractor which may be similar or the same
as Orion's, and similar price, an 80mm ED 45 degree spotting scope for
500 bucks, and a 100mm ED 45 degree spotter for a mere $650 (I want
one!). If these are Synta-based, then hopefully they will maintain the
quality at breakthrough prices.

The 102mm F5 achromat GoTo looks interesting. Rumors of a 130mm Mak.
