Congratulations on the G11. Id love to have one. I have the 6" synta
on the G5 mount with a surveyors tripod. The scope still cries out for
a bigger tripod and mount. Good luck with your setup. And yes being
single does have its advantages.

The equipment in question is a Losmandy G-11, which
I've put together in the middle of my living room floor
(being single has its advantages... :-) and currently
have my 5" Synta achromat perched on it. It looks like
an overgrown finder scope.

Before you ask: no, I didn't get Gemini. Maybe next
time.
