Default Hefty "Humphrey" a crazy looking Mars rock...

Orion:

Wonder what it looks like in color...

Davoud:
Uh, reddish, maybe?

Orion:

Look at it again davy, given the wide range of grey tone, I doubt the whole
rock is red.

It's quite a leap from "Uh, reddish, maybe," which I wrote, to "the
whole rock is red," which I didn't write. "Reddish," as I use the term,
means "having any or all of a wide variety of shades of red, orange, or
pink."

A "wide range of grey tones" tells us only that the rock is neither jet
black nor pure white. It does not suggest in any fashion whether it is
all red or all blue or all purple or all chartreuse or all sunflower
yellow or rainbow hued.

Besides, my response was T-I-C, based on the fact that much of what of
what I have seen in the color images from mars has been red*dish*.
