I'm not aware of other control systems in thisclass of mounts that model the
tracking in this way.

You may not be aware, but there are a number of software packages now available
that can model any equatorial mount in a similar manner. You are not
constrained any more to one mount maker if you are looking at computer enhanced
pointing and tracking. Today you can control your MI, Losmandy, AP, Tak and
other mounts with very accurate smart software.

In our case, Astro-Physics has a 1200 GTO mount installed with C14 telescope at
the ISSAT facility. We are also supplying 1200 GTO mounts to SLOOH, a group
which is setting up remote telescopes in the Canary Islands. We also have three
900 mounts with C11 telescopes now being remotely operated 24 hours a day by a
French research team in Antarctica near the south pole. All these scopes are
using a variety of commercial and custom software for pointing and tracking
control.
