yes. several high ranking and CURRENT NASA astronauts have commented that
the risk is the not worth it, including Rominger.

Why doesn't Nasa ask for volunteers from the Astronauts to crew a final
Hubble mission ?? Everyone knows the risks...it would be an all volunteer
crew willing to take their chances, that in the extreme could lead to

deaths, but everyone goes into this mission with eyes open. Does anyone
think they would or would not find at least 7 Astronauts willing to take
on
this mission even knowing what he risks are ??
