Default The telescopes of Captain James Cook

Hello all,
I finally finished a page on the telescopes that James Cook took
with him to observe the Transit of Venus
on June 3rd, 1769, in the South Seas. As most of you know, this led to
the discovery and mapping of New Zealand, Australia, and the Northwest
Passagae. This is the latest addition to my website,
http://www.antiquetelescopes.org. The Cook page is he
http://www.antiquetelescopes.org/cook.html. I still haven't finished the
pages on 18th and 19th century telescopes, but I will be working on them
in the coming weeks.
As usual, comments welcome.
Thanks for looking.
Clear skies.
