It's probably a salvaged binocular objective in a brass plumbing
tube....look closely and you'll see the definite "Home Hardware"
heritage.

I understand Grampus buys all their fine "makin's" from H.H.

This alternately makes me howl with laughter, and quiver with
anger.....I might need some help on dealing with the the fine "Grampus"
refractor.............
