Hello ,
Why is Mars rovers lifespan is only 90 days ?
Com Sats last years.
Pioneer is 20+ yrs and still talking.
The rover experiences large diurnal temperature changes,
and (being in an atmosphere) is considerably harder to
insulate.
I thought they they over insulated it and were having higher temperatures
in the vehicle than expected. Aren't they using aerogel insulation?

Great isulator and extremely light. I don't think teperatures the problem.
