Greetings all,

I have an 8" Newt from Orion with 2" focuser and adapter to 1.25". Recently
I bought an eyepiece (2") that appears to be a really beautiful eyepiece but
I can't get it in focus. I discovered if I don't put it in all the way (no
jokes please) I can move the focuser out enough to focus and it is a nice
view.

Question is, why dows this eyepiece a 32mm Vernonscope, need so much travel
and what can I do to correct this? Is there an adapter for the 2" focuser?
What would be a plus or minus of an eyepiece thatrequired so much travel?
