After looking at the 3 planispheres sold by Amazon, Tirion's doesn't
look useable outdoors under a red light and seems kind of "busy" for one
like me who needs a relatively "simple" skymap, outdoors, to re-learn
the sky after many years since I originally learned enough to find my
way without too much bumbling around. Only one side of Levy's offering
is a planisphere, as opposed to Chandler's, with N and S parts of the
sky on opposites sides, useable at night. Pending others' comments, so
far it looks to me like Chandler's may be the most useful for a new/old
"beginner".
