The Televue is Okay. But I'm really talking about something that looks more
like a small camcorder bag, or a tamrac or nova camera bag - top
compartments would be for eyepieces. Side pockets for Rigel, filters etc.
lower zippered pocket for Argo Navis, etc. The bag would rest on shoulder
while you opened it, and handled the eyepieces (can't really do that with
the Televue.
Seems like someone should be able to design one of these for amateur
astronomers.

Televue makes a nice eyepiece case with room for filters. You could use
one of the eyepiece slots for a small flashlight. You'd want to be
creative putting stuff in there, but the case itself is just as you
describe.
Take a look:

I'm
looking for a small softsided camera-bag-style bag that allows you to
carry
4 to 6 eyepieces standing up, has spade for a Sky Commander or Argo
Navis,
small flashlight, and filters. I see lots of large metal and plastic
cases - but nothing that you can carry over the shoulder like a nice
small
camera bag. Anyone know of such a critter? Thanks,
André
