Default Leonids - When is the peak ?

When is the peak viewing time for the western USA supposed to be this
year.
And any predictions on how the shower will be this year.
It certainly has been good the last several.

Thank you
Craig

Go to http://leonid.arc.nasa.gov There you will find an applet to
calculate the expected rates, courtesy of David Nugent. Predictions are
just that, so observers should monitor this shower even if rates are
expected to be low. Please report your observations to one of the meteor
organizations, IMO, AMS, NAMN etc. Weather conditions at this time of year
are unpredictable so you may be one of the observers lucky enough to have
clear skies. Standard observing methods can be found at any of the meteor
organization sites.
