So then you see the real problem here that your chances of having a marriage last even on a tropical paradise are not up to immortal standards.
So then you start to collect ex wives. And they need men so you start to collect ex wives and men that at any time could attack you from behind.
So you know all that is madness right at the ex wife collection point.

So that is why maybe no one gets married in heaven.

But for the desert island it is what you make it and you need a good solid background now in philosophy that you have never seen nor heard of.

No time will pass for them and you will not age.

You go and turn that world back on reset and walk out of the bathroom and life is the same as it was.
So you collect things but those are saved games.
That is what we call those.
Like when we restore a copy of the earth onto a blank bring in 2 million in a suitcase go to Vegas we call that time travel.

Resetting the cheerleaders on your island we call that time travel too.
You have traveled back in time to before you decided to do that and you changed your mind and changed the time line.

Notice that when Bill was talking to the lady in Groundhog Day she was very sympathetic, the resets were not affecting her at all.
