With the moon largely on the sunlit face of the Earth and darkness firmly established, the South pole latitude opens up a constant vista of the celestial arena , at least weather permitting.

Isn't it time to drop the 'tilting' Earth and adopt the principles of a single surface rotation of the entire planet due solely to its orbital motion, this rotation runs parallel to the orbital plane and is quite slow and uneven.
