The difference between clowns and a bunch of celestial sphere enthusiasts/experimental theorists is that clowns actually go out of their way to be funny while theorists handling astronomical observations are being serious even though they are incredibly funny unbeknownst to themselves.

Pointing out nonsense goes astronomically nowhere but it does show that mathematicians are lost with basic astronomical observations.
