Default Look, up in the sky...

It's been known for a long time that the hate and disdain the average
liberial holds for a particular conservative is a true measure of that
individual's importance and success. Rush must be very important indeed, as
the only individual whom the libs hate more is George W. Bush.

I wouldn't normally respond to an off-topic posting, but...

(1) Limbaugh has long been proud of his addiction to tobacco (the

gateway
drug).

Rush was proud of his addiction to food until it became apparent that
it was going to kill him. His addiction to drugs is illegal, so he
could not make jokes about it.

(2) Please don't equate all conservatives with Limbaugh's crowd.

It's understandable, since "Limbaugh's" people are the ones making all
the noise. BTW, Limbaugh's people are pretty much the same crowd as
Pat Robertson's, Ralph Reed's, Randall Terry's...

(3) Please note that it is wrong to accuse people of "hate" (or other
serious faults) without substantial evidence. Plenty of conservatives

don't
hate anybody.

Do you think it wrong to accuse people of "hate" after they make
comments like the following?

Randall Terry, one of the darling conservatives, said himself, that
hate and intolerance are good things. He suggested that Christians
let a wave of hate wash over them when facing their enemies--the
liberals. I accuse Terry of hate, and apparently he has confessed.

"I want you to just let a wave of intolerance wash over you. I want
you to let a wave of hatred wash over you. Yes, hate is good...Our
goal is a Christian nation. We have a Biblical duty, we are called by
God, to conquer this country. We don't want equal time. We don't want
pluralism."--Randall Terry, Founder of Operation Rescue, The
News-Sentinel, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 8-16-93

In referring to doctors who perform abortions, Terry said, "When I, or
people like me, are running the country, you'd better flee, because we
will find you, we will try you, and we'll execute you. I mean every
word of it. I will make it part of my mission to see to it that they
are tried and executed."

Bailey Smith, a founding father of Robertson's Christian Coalition,
once told 15,000 people at a Religious Roundtable briefing in Dallas,
"With all due respect to those dear people, my friend, God Almighty
does not hear the prayer of a Jew." --Petersburg Times, June 26, 1994

Were you not aware of some of the comments the "Christian Leaders"
have been making?
