I can't deal with celestial sphere enthusiasts right now, the disappearance of the Sun from the South pole is a consequence of a surface rotation arising from the orbital motion of the Earth and looks roughly like this -

It doesn't matter how many times I produce that graphic in tandem with the observed dual surface rotations of Uranus (minus that planet's circle of illumination), the wonderful astronomical event where two separate types of sunrises and sunsets happen within the same day goes unappreciated.
It takes 6 months from polar sunrise to polar sunset where the Sun appears above one horizon and disappears from view 6 months later and like all daily sunsets, it is due to a surface rotation of the Earth to the Sun.

You have celestial sphere dummies talking up the Sun crossing the 'celestial equator' when the nearest observation is polar sunrise and sunset at the Equinoxes. I know only too well that these radical guys have the ability to blot out an observation in order to keep themselves inside their homocentric ideology built on Ra/Dec but it is not possible that everyone can do it.
