Perhaps there's a molecular rebirth bang every 100 GY. When our universe stops expanding by way of our best science detecting such, we will no longer exist.
If quantum entanglement is instantaneous, perhaps there's no telling how many universes are out there, or how often they get recycled.
In other words, Bert and a few others of the multiverse interpretations could have been right all along.
