case of your last fact(oid) (= that "they" believe it is the center of
the universe), did you perhaps say "some Bible scholars who have been
dead for 500 years"?

For that matter, I've never heard any Bible scholar express the
opinion that life was unique to Earth, although I've heard some say
that perhaps the opposite is true. ("Perhaps", because they didn't
want to be dogmatic.) But maybe you limit your input from Bible
scholars to late night TV.

What's the difference if the religious bull is on 'Late Night' or 'Early
Morning'... it certainly is not on at 'Prime Time'. We all know the
Religions are Anti-Science. We all know about the war of Science Vs.
Religion. Who do you think is going to win that war? Do you think folks
will want to go back to the 'Dark Ages' of the hypocritical religious
myths and superstitious ignorance of the past, or will they want to move
on to the bright and glorious future that the promise of Science portends?

I'm afraid Rudy, this worn out wheeze just isn't going to attract the level
of attention you crave. Maybe you should jump on one of the political
bandwagons, you'll generate more "hits" for yourself by slamming the current
administration. In any case, don't you have finals or something coming up?
Shouldn't you be studying and not annoying newsgroups?
