Thank the almighty for small mercies--Tholen hasn't posted anything
for two days now. (Tentatively, I conclude that he has decided that
we were right all along about Barnes, and his silence is a concession
of the fact.) Nightingale has posted once or twice.


Maybe he's dead (we can only hope). Butt, most likely, he's having
another holiday, gone off somewhere or is doing some work for a
change. He might even have lost his account (but they he'd be poasting
from elsewhere, I suppose).

On another note: don't you find it particularly sad when people feel
they have to define their online existence by someone else's?
