Because, when topics or replies don't get posted, at least some of the
time there's a robo-message from team Google as to what didn't get in
or stick as planned.

This gives you and Bert another way of trying to figure out why it did
not stick or perhaps why it got rejected.

The Google Groups version of Usenet/newsgroups isn't perfected, and
others like Hagar and HVAC are always trying to foil its operation
because, it's what they were hired to do.
