A senator and a former astronaut both advocate killing NASA's
involvment in supporting commercial space.
Ya mean....Col. Walter Cunningham and
Rep Pete Olson (R-Texas)
From Texas, that's odd~
The Colonel is a right wing nut job that compares the
scientific community to the Vatican with the issue of
global warming. And says only a 'few scientists' think
the climate is warming. And he says a little warming
is a good thing any way. It seems he thinks the opinion
of his own NASA on global warming has no more merit
than the hot-air of a couple of bible-thumpers.
He's been published in the Libertarian right wing magazine
Heartland Institute. Which is one of those 501c3 political
hot-rooms for, in this case, far right wing lobbying.
Now, in trying to find who funds this little "private charity"
called Heartland Institute, you get only this....
"After much deliberation and with some regret, we
now keep confidential the identities of all our donors
for the following reasons:
"a.. People who disagree with our views have taken
to selectively disclosing names of donors who they think
are unpopular in order to avoid addressing the merits
of our positions. Listing our donors makes this unfair
and misleading tactic possible."

Yeah! I bet it does indeed! Chriisakes....that's what's called
'straight from the ol' horses mouth'. Unbelievable!
Hey, this digging around stuff is kinda fun, never know
what's next.Truth is always stranger than fiction!
