Opening an email shouldn't infect you so long as you don't launch the attachment.


My problem is a mass attack: My 10 meg email box is filling in 6-8 hrs
wiht Microsoft-related junk .. unless I go to the server (earthlink) and
delete all the spam every six hours or so. And if I let them be
retrieved automatically, all have viruses.

So I am using a different (and more private) server until that gets fixed.
