Default Refractor Alignment Problem

I have a 120mm, f/8.3 refractor. I recently bought a laser collimator

leave it alone? The objective lens has alignment screws.

It might be your focuser or laser is out of whack. I don't see how the
collimation adjustment on your objective would affect the spot the light
from the laser strikes the objective. When you turn the laser in the
focuser does the spot wander?
