Sounds good, we will be pulling for you. Lifters for 6's or V-8 are cheap and
pretty easy to put in.
My wife's '94 Escort had been sounding bad, bad, bad. Only 10K miles on a
rebuilt motor and something was loose in the top end. Didn't sound like a
lifter because it was irregular and it was a rattle rather than a lifter
tapping. Sounded to me like it might be a loose piston or some thing.
