If they had some sort of sealed aquarium with gloves through the glass,
they could bring in the pump assembly in a sealed bag, put it in
aquarium, seal aquarium and then use gloves to unwrap it and perform
forensics on it.



Well, there is ESA's glovebox on board. (Probably wouldn't be big enough for
the job, though.)
