Hello everybody.
I'm looking at these two telescopes (Meade SN-8 & Celestron C8-NGT),
and I was wondering if anybody has seen a comparison, or has some
personal experience. Both are 8" Newtonians (the Meade is a
Schmidt-Newtonian). The Celestron is an f/5, while the Meade is an
f/4. Both are GoTo...

Any enlightment is appreciated!


Hi:

My advice is to avoid the LXD55 until Meade improves the quality/QA on the
LXD55 mount.
