Earth's weak magnetic field helped Sun to steal water from planet's

young Sun, likely stripped water from the early Earth's atmosphere."http://news.oneindia.in/2010/03/05/earthsweak-magnetic-field-helped-s...
Then why are we still in the cycle of losing our protective
geomagnetic force and its magnetosphere at roughly 0.1%/year?
Because that's just something you made up.

My goodness, are we having another bad day. week, month, year on
Usenet?

"In the recent 20 years, the planet's magnetic field intensity has
decreased by 1.7%, and in South Atlantic by 10%. In the last two
hundred years, the Earth's magnetic field has seen a 10% decrease in
intensity."
That's the 20 year average of 0.085%/yr. 2010 could easily be 0.1%
loss.
