Default Scope Selection

Hi All

Its been a long while that I wrote here (years) so some of you wont remember
me... other will remember me from ldas (Letchworth and district) as Kev Pye

I'm now settled in Yorkshire with much less polluted skies and want to
return to imaging, viewing , especially major planets.

I'm thinking along the lines of 8" f/6 Newtonian being a good place to
restart.

Question is mounts these days. I used to have a Fullerscopes Mk3 which was
rather study years ago.

These days I can see the HEQ5, HE6, Sphinx, and the Celestron mount that
goes with their 8", and LX75/55

Can anyone with actual experience kindly give me feedback here, on these
modern day mounts.

In an ideal world I'd like the mount to be able to track using autoguider
long term but short term I wont be using that.

Many Thanks

Kev Lawrence
