View Full Version : NGC 1893 in H-alpha

Imaged with my NP101 refractor at f/5.4 and H-alpha filter. The half
moon was only 20 degrees away so the H-a filter served as both light
pollution filter and emission nebula narrow band filter.

Processed in ImagesPlus using Rank-Order filter to reduce reflection
artifacts arising from reflections off of the H-alpha filter. Note
that the "trailing" is in fact the remains of my reflection artifacts.
