Finally managed to get out to image Saturn again on Saturday night.
Conditions not great (seeing 6/10, transparency 7/10) but it was nice
to see something after some awful weather in the UK.

On the Sunday C/2006 P1 (McNaught) was visible in daylight. I'm still
working through my shots for this (my skies were a bit hazy) but one
did stand out for me. The comet is the small insignificant dot in the
centre of the shot...

And finally...

While waiting to see if I could pick up the comet yesterday evening
(the clouds looked as if they might part), I saw and photographed my
first ever detached green flash.
