View Full Version : Bad hair days?

This is probably a very silly question, but as time in space gets longer
for Astronauts, who cuts their hair?
How do they stop hairs from floating around, if they do it themselves?

Presuming that
"ISS005-E-08151 (July 2002) --- Astronaut Peggy A. Whitson,
Expedition Five flight engineer, cuts cosmonaut Sergei Y. Treschev's
hair in the Zvezda Service Module on the International Space Station
(ISS). Treschev, flight engineer representing Rosaviakosmos, holds a
vacuum device the crew has fashioned to garner freshly cut hair,
which is floating freely"
would be picked up by Brian's SW from that site it does seem that his
reply was a bit on the presumptive side.

Well, it took a couple tries to get the image so if he didn't get it I
can understand his frustration. For some reason even though the original
url copied itself completely when I saved it, I still got the "this url
has moved" reply. Highlighting the url and pasting in the browser did
work, however, to go directly to the picture.

Have not received my new glasses as of yet. Have they ever considered
sending the space cadets to hair styling school? A Flow Bee might help.

The original set "Flow Bee" http://www.surftilyoudrop.com/flowbee.htm
is too cheap ;-)
NASA version should cost minimum $5995.00 ;-)
